In the spirit of purest NaNoWriMo, M.E. Hearn and Vivien Chase are starting new novels in totally different genres from what they worked on this past year. In previous years, The Lady Nerds have used NaNoWriMo to revise, set insane-o goals of 90,000 words, and completed several books in a series. This time, we’re getting back to the basics. The classic NaNoWriMo, if you will. Read onward to hear more about our individual goals for this year:
Vivien Chase (aka Lady Foxcraft) will be drafting Champion, a brand new fantasy novel unlike anything she’s written before. So far, the outline has just about written itself…cue excited panic euphoria-ness! The overall word count goal for the novel is more like 90,000, but she’ll be absolutely thrilled to reach 50,000 by November 30th!
After a year of revisions on Vanguard, M.E. Hearn (aka Lady Hawkeye) is totes chuffed to be dedicating this year’s NaNoWriMo to a new project very close to her heart and tentatively titled Sweet Home. Exploring the genre of Women’s Fiction, as well as first person POV promises to make this November a very interesting one for M.E., and she wouldn’t have it any other way!
