In anticipation for October and Halloween festivities, a group of friends came over to my humble abode and made a little tabletop magic! As we hunkered down in our chairs with Mountain Dew and pizza, we carefully set up Dead of Winter and listed intently to the instructions. While we played we decided to increase the thrill/scare factor. Off went the lights (well, most of them) and on went House on the Hill, an ambiance/minimal music playlist from Tabletop Audio. If you haven’t checked the website out, I highly encourage you to give it a try. It’s a great source of background music for tabletop games, writing, or working.
AND! If you haven’t played Dead of Winter… Oh, ho, ho! Are you in for a treat! The game is LOADS of fun. Everyone in the group of 6 players had a blast.
